My name is Jewel Wiggins and I am co-owner of Jt Hair Studio. I am from Lumberton, Tx but I have proudly been serving guest here in Beaumont since 2018.
As a mom of three boys, I know exactly how important it is to feel special, pampered, and beautiful in a relaxing atmosphere. My goal is to always meet these needs for each of my guest. I also know how important it is for my guest to be able to recreate their look. I try to educate my guest so they leave feeling beautiful and confident that they can maintain their look at home!
This industry is ever changing and the days of the jack of all trades stylist are long gone. It is the era of stylist who specialize in specific services. I chose to specialize in Blonding and extensions. I love creating beautiful blondes, and giving my clients a confidence boost by giving them thick luscious locks with extensions. But what does it mean to "specialize"? Do I have a certain certification to make me a Blonde specialist? Well no! What it does mean is that I focus all of my continuing education on Blonding and extension classes. I have spent the past 5 years studying and learning as much as I can about creating the best blondes while keeping the hair healthy and I have spent the last 3 years studying hair extensions. I am currently certified in 3 extension methods and hope to add more soon!
While I do branch out from time to time there are some services I do not offer. I do not offer short haircuts (pixies, super short bobs, or mens cuts), shags and mullets, fashion colors, and updos and event styling. If there is a service I do not offer that you are looking to get I would be happy to refer a stylist who I think would be a good fit for you.
I absolutely love what I do and enjoy that I am always learning and growing in this industry!
In my free time you’ll find me at home with my family.
We love meal planning and cooking together, binge watching tv shows, playing board games and going out to play the occasional round of golf.
When I can steal a few minutes for myself, I love to listen to podcast or music, read a good book or do a little online shopping (I may have a slight shopping addiction lol)
